Sophie is a site responsive, research based textile artist. Her current work explores the intangible qualities of the River Severn Estuary through concepts such as: numerical time, durational time, absence, presence and voids.
She will be in Caerbladon on Saturday 6 June for an informal, daytime ‘show and chat’. Do please come along, meet Sophie and see some of the techniques she uses to express the estuary in unconventional and abstract ways, often with reused materials.
